Banjo, Piano, Violin, Cello

Currently residing in southern Indiana, Elizabeth Johnson is a farm girl at heart, who loves being with people, teaching/playing/writing music, and doing anything that requires an artistic eye. Music has played a big part in Elizabeth’s life, her formal training began on the piano at the age of five. She is very thankful to have been brought up in the encouraging and driving environments within D.C. Al Fine Studio, Laura Andrews String Studio, and Kay Lee Studio. Under the instruction of Mrs.Nancy Crump, Elizabeth has competed in many Local, National, and International competitions, placing well and awarded many scholarships. Through the years, Elizabeth has enjoyed gaining skills on other instruments, such as violin around the age of nine, and cello shortly there after. Elizabeth plays regularly in the Columbus Symphony Orchestra, Andrews String Orchestra, Landmark Baptist Church Orchestra, and most recently in a newly formed ensemble group, 5th Degree of which she is the principle cellist and Head of Board.“What I enjoy most about playing music is being able to create and perfect, allowing what is within to flow out in beautiful melody and intricate mathematics for the pleasure and merriment of others."

Elizabeth is married to David Johnson and together they have a two girls and a boy.  Elizabeth enjoys being with family and friends, cooking and decorating her new home!
